1. Introduction

Chimsy ("we", "our", or "us") provides an interactive screen companion Chrome extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Authentication Information: When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your verified email address and name to identify your account and synchronize your charm collection and entitlements across devices.
Purchase & Subscription Data: When you subscribe to Chimsy Pro or purchase Celestial Lifetime, transaction details are processed securely by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. We store only your payment status and email to grant access.
Local Preferences: Preferences such as sound effects, wander mode toggle, and active charm selections are stored locally on your device via Chrome storage.

3. How We Use Information

We use your email address solely to:

Authenticate you into the Chimsy extension.
Sync your subscription entitlements from Turso cloud database.
Provide customer support when requested.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. Your data is only shared with trusted service providers strictly necessary to deliver Chimsy services (Google Cloud Authentication, Turso Database, and Dodo Payments).

5. Lifetime License & Support Period

A "Celestial Lifetime" license grants the purchaser access to all companions, features, and platform updates for the operational life of the product, with a guaranteed minimum service, compatibility, and maintenance commitment of five (5) years (1,825 days) from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers active browser updates, security patches, and cloud sync. In the event of future third-party platform deprecation or service retirement beyond the five-year guaranteed window, no recurring liability or perpetual claims shall apply.
